Don’t let good shoes go to landfill.

We exist to prevent perfectly usable footwear and clothing from being destroyed. If you have unwanted stock, returns, or surplus items, there is a responsible alternative.

Tell us what you have
Every pair diverted matters. Waste prevented is impact created.

The reality

Footwear is one of the most difficult products to recycle. Mixed materials, adhesives, and foam make disposal complex. Overstock and returns are often destroyed — not because people want to waste them, but because better systems do not yet exist.

Complex construction
Shoes combine rubber, foam, textiles, and adhesives — making conventional recycling difficult.
Systemic waste
Surplus stock is often written off or destroyed due to cost, storage, and logistical pressures.
Lack of alternatives
Businesses and individuals want responsible options — but accessible solutions remain limited.

How the cycle works

We assess every submission and choose the highest-impact path: reuse first, redistribution next, and responsible recycling only when necessary.

Rescue
Items are intercepted before they reach landfill or are destroyed.
Reuse
Repair and redirection extend the life of each product wherever possible.
Redistribute / Recycle
Community donation comes first. Responsible recycling is used only when reuse is not possible.
Waste reduction drives our work — sustainability drives how we run.

Impact so far

0+ Shoes Saved

More than one hundred thousand pairs have been kept out of landfill and remain in circulation. Every pair diverted reduces material waste, lowers demand for new manufacturing, and cuts associated carbon emissions.

≈ 1,200 tonnes of CO₂ avoided*

Roughly equivalent to taking over 250 cars off the road for a year (UK equivalent).

Enough rubber to equal 20,000+ car tyres

That’s enough tyre rubber to cover several kilometres of road — a playful way to picture the scale.

Millions of litres of water preserved

By extending product life, we reduce the need for new manufacturing — helping conserve water across supply chains in the UK and beyond.

Every pair kept in use eases pressure on landfill, reduces emissions, and decreases the need for new production.

*Estimates based on average lifecycle emissions of footwear production and avoided landfill impact.
