Don’t let good shoes go to landfill.
We exist to prevent perfectly usable footwear and clothing from being destroyed. If you have unwanted stock, returns, or surplus items, there is a responsible alternative.
Tell us what you haveThe reality
Footwear is one of the most difficult products to recycle. Mixed materials, adhesives, and foam make disposal complex. Overstock and returns are often destroyed — not because people want to waste them, but because better systems do not yet exist.
Shoes combine rubber, foam, textiles, and adhesives — making conventional recycling difficult.
Surplus stock is often written off or destroyed due to cost, storage, and logistical pressures.
Businesses and individuals want responsible options — but accessible solutions remain limited.
How the cycle works
We assess every submission and choose the highest-impact path: reuse first, redistribution next, and responsible recycling only when necessary.
Impact so far
More than one hundred thousand pairs have been kept out of landfill and remain in circulation. Every pair diverted reduces material waste, lowers demand for new manufacturing, and cuts associated carbon emissions.
Roughly equivalent to taking over 250 cars off the road for a year (UK equivalent).
That’s enough tyre rubber to cover several kilometres of road — a playful way to picture the scale.
By extending product life, we reduce the need for new manufacturing — helping conserve water across supply chains in the UK and beyond.
*Estimates based on average lifecycle emissions of footwear production and avoided landfill impact.
